Kilimanjaro Routes
MACHAME ROUTE
This is the most amazing route up Kilimanjaro. And all urequipments & supplies are carrying with porters & a cook prepares ur meals. the Machame route offers strictly tents only
MARANGU ROUTE
This is the most popular and easiest way to the summit. The trail has huts along its route with all the basic necessities. No technical skills are required for this five day trek. The trek can also be taken in 6 days/5 nights to add acclimatization with an extra day at Horombo Hut
LEMOSHO ROUTE
The Lemosho route is one of the newer routes on Mount Kilimanjaro. The route begins in the west and rather than simply intersecting Shira Plateau (like Machame), Lemosho crosses it from Shira Ridge to Shira Camp
RONGAI ROUTE
The Rongai route is the only route that approaches Kilimanjaro from the north, close to the Kenyan border. Though gaining popularity amongst climbers, the Rongai route still experiences low traffic.
UMBWE ROUTE
The umbwe route is thought to be the most difficult way to climb kilimanjaro. The trail from umbwe gate to barranco camp is extremely steep and the route is not recommended for inexperienced hikers.
